Welcome to the Cello Studio of Psyche Cassandra Dunkhase!

All ages and abilities are welcome in my studio. Together we will explore cello technique, musicality, music theory, improvisation and body awareness, tailoring your lessons to meet your individual musical goals. With over 17 years of teaching experience, I am a self-directed, enthusiastic educator with a passionate commitment to student development and the learning process. Whether you are picking up a cello for the first time, preparing to enter the professional world, or revisiting a childhood hobby, I look forward to joining you on your musical journey!

I have extensive experience coaching chamber music ensembles, running orchestral sectionals, giving masterclasses, and developing and facilitating special music programs for youth. Please contact me for more information.

Scholarship Opportunities:
**Now accepting applications for the Dark Rabbit Cello Scholarship for Ethnic Minority Students--2019/2020 school year. Please contact me for additional information about the scholarship**
To qualify for a scholarship, students must have extenuating circumstances preventing them from pursuing cello lessons. Additionally, they must demonstrate a desire to learn and a commitment to study the cello. Lesson times and locations are arranged individually with each scholarship recipient. Scholarship students will be asked to keep daily/weekly practice journals and assist with one studio recital per semester.
